GRiZ - "I'm Good"


Oh, baby! After popping up late last year following a lengthy absence from the public spotlight, GRiZ returns with a heavy dosage of funk to help keep your body warm and your vibes lifted this week.

Along with announcing a new album and tour, GRiZ liberates "I'm Good" from the vault, coming through with a sound that holds true to vintage Grant while also showcasing the growth and maturity he's experienced over the last year. Man, just when you thought his style couldn't get any funkier, the eclectic artist finds a way to bring the energy of his music to a whole new level. "I'm Good" is the epitome of feel-good music, and you'll notice the tidal waves of euphoria crashing throughout your mind, body and spirit as soon as you press play...and then play the record back, over and over again. 

"I'm Good" serves as our first taste of Ride Waves, which is set for release on April 5th. Of course, this means GRiZ will be hitting the road, bringing the love and positive energy of his music to a city near you. For more on tickets and album pre-sale, head here.

In typical Raz fashion, the Black Umbrella founder holds nothing back on "Clout", addressing a myriad of subject matter with a confidently calm yet simultaneously aggressive delivery. Raz Simone - "Jose" (feat. Anthony Danza) [prod. Paul Judge] (Video)

If the last couple weeks are any indication, it would appear safe to presume the Black Umbrella family is ready to unleash an onslaught of content upon the masses this year. It became evidently more clear when, after dropping the cinematic " Clout ", Raz Simone returned with two new videos in just about as many days.  The first release came in the form of the Paul Judge-produced "Jose", a plug-feuled anthem accompanied by another Jacob Hill-shot visual experience. Filmed on location in Guadalajara, Mexico, "Jose" showcases Simone and Anthony Danza laying their fiery verses in all the places most tourists would be unable to visit. Some artists are adept at creating music that blends genres, the resulting product sounding unique in its own right. Others, like Abiyah and Ceschi , transcend past the mere blending of styles to offer up sonic manifestations that manage to  defy any sort of genre all together.
