Sam Lachow - "Albino Rhino" (feat. Nacho Picasso) [prod. Paranoid Afterparty] (Video)

As fans eagerly anticipate his next full-length project, Sam Lachow drops off some aesthetically enchanting visuals for a cut off the Seattle-by way of-NY artist's Motels & Minivans EP.

Lachow and Nacho Picasso take turns looking inward while contemplating the effects of their environment as they trade bars on the Paranoid Afterparty-produced "Albino Rhino". The back and forth delivery allows the track to feel even more high paced and cluttered, capturing the essence of cocaine use well. Representative of where they are at in their respective journeys, neither artist glorifies drug use, although they remain honest in their personal depiction of the experiences they've had both in using and sobering up.

Visually stimulating, the Lachow and Andrew Imanaka-directed video highlights the dichotomy of a cocaine-infused nightlife. Thanks to Noah Samsen's edits, the visual experience is fun and more than slightly trippy, but viewers see first hand the depleting and deteriorating impact of cocaine thanks to the sluggish and washed energy depicted by Lachow's mannerisms.

And bonus points for the use of the WWE/Erik Rowan/Wyatt Family sheep mask.

Be sure to check out the full review of Lachow's Motels & Minivans. And those interested can cop a hoodie featuring the "Albino Rhino" emblem here.

Rudy - No Time

God willing, each and every person birthed into this world will grow up. In some cultures, the elders are held to the highest esteem - for they are the ones with the knowledge and experience to hold true wisdom. While many in our society praise youth and the physical beauty associated with being young, it is only through the experience of living life that one learns about the world, and in turn, has the capability to learn about their own being. And still, we tend to look down upon those who have been blessed to experience a long, full life. Perhaps it's because so many "old" people seem to live a life of regret, looking back on their youth with a mind full of "what ifs" and "should haves". While young individuals are rushing to reach maturity,
